Daily Gratitudes
For five years Mary’s daily “Beautiful Things” post has been expressing the places she’s found beauty and sacred presence in the world, especially in the darkest seasons. Begun in 2016 in response to the deep polarization of the Presidential election, Mary posted daily where she noticed beautiful things in the midst of our broken human community. Over the years this has grown into a profound gratitude practice, changing her perception and what her brain notices in her day.

Sacred Reflections
When COVID began, Mary’s weekly preaching practice, expanded beyond the spoken word, to a written word. In this weekly reflection Mary grapples with parts of the sacred story she avoided for 25 years as a pastor: the stories that made no sense, the wisdom lessons that seemed too hard, the teachings that seemed to contradict one another. Mary now wrestles with these mysteries until they realease a new insight or deeper wisdom about living as Love in the world.
